We will be presenting our findings this Friday Dec 11, 2018 at 3pm in the Tanimura & Antle Family Memorial Library at CSU Monterey Bay. We will be presenting along with other CSUMB students who worked on projects for the city. We would be very grateful if you came to our presentation. Thanks to all the Seaside residents and businesses that assisted us with our research and participated in our survey.
This is us! We are working hard to make this urban fruit share project happen! You might see us walking around different neighborhoods leaving flyers at your doorstep, say hi!
Since we've posted our survey last week, we've had over 70 people respond. Thank you to everyone that has shared our project over the past few days and we hope to hear more responses in the next few weeks.
We just received our first logo design from a fellow student. It looks amazing! We are also making tremendous progress on our project. Last week, Alex and Eessa introduced our project and website at the city council meeting. Thank you to all the residents who completed the survey in the last few days. Your input really means a lot to us. Thank you for visiting our website and participating with our capstone project. We are students from CSU Monterey Bay working with Seaside on projects to better our community. Our names are Blanche, Jessica, Eessa, and Alex. We established Fruit Connection as a way to better the community and create a sustainable public food share. So far we are making progress mapping out locations of fruit trees in the city of Seaside and hope to send out our public survey soon. Feel free to contact us for questions or concerns!
